Yesterday I read up on the UN because I found it remarkable that no matter how many times I’ve visited New York I’ve never been to the grounds.
My Friend Layla and I were wandering around looking for something free to do and so I suggested we go to the UN building just to see what it looked like.
When we got there, there were masses of barricades and police that looked like they were keeping an eye on every car in the neighborhood. I remarked to Layla that perhaps something was happening soon.
The assembly opened today.
