This is sad I totally remember going here as a kid. What with the Blackwater and Bull and Bear closing you can almost chalk Stockton up to succeeding at being a bland, average no-wheresville just like everywhere else… (still like Manny’s and Valley Brew… Keep Stockton Local)

Natey there are still some very beautiful places in Stockton that are not of the coffee or spirits kind. American Legion park with the water and the ducks……local picnic place for families and fishing spot for all. Micke Grove park……….do you remember the Tea Garden? Walking the peaceful paths with flowing water where koi fish swim lazily and the waterfalls can inspire a tremedous calm and feeling of “I’m glad to be alive!” Walking along the levees in my neighborhood and watching folks fishing from their boats or just enjoying the water and the warm sunshine. Granted this is all nature but the simple, beautiful things in a place should never be overlooked! Did I miss the point??? love you!
