One feature that seems like very few people take advantage of is the ability for cellphones to recieve emailed messages as text messages. I find this incredibly convienient for two reasons:

1. It’s much easier to type a message on a keyboard
2. Email is free while texting generally costs money

All cellphone texting is sent to the person’s full phone number (for example 8315556494) @ their service provider’s server.The trick is that you have to know the right server to send it to. For that you need to know the person’s service provider (Verizon, T-mobile, Cingular etc) and the name of their server.

Surprisingly enough I found a list of service provider emails on the LiveJournal Website. Enjoy:
