Apparently Friendster owns the patent for social networking.
I find this interesting as a former friendster and current myspace user. Should be interesting if Friendster issues licenses because it would effectively be a subsidy on their service by the bigger sites (MySpace, Facebook…) perhaps leading to better services and more competition.
