Definition of Hella… I’ve been talking with G-dawg a lot of the proper uses of hella. What’s interesting is that when people from socal or other places use it (my ex for instance) it sometimes feels forced. When trying to figure out why it feels forced I come up with a blank. It just needs to flow and I think the trick is alluded to in this Wikipedia entry in that its not normally used as a contraction for “hell of a”…

Love the example: “I guess she seems hella stoned in her commercial and I have a thing for chicks that are stoned and/or drunk.”
